John Erin McCabe, Esq.

John “Erin” McCabe is an Attorney at Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA, where he handles consumer bankruptcy matters. He is responsible for drafting motions and objections, while handling extensive negotiations. Mr. McCabe attends creditor hearings and courtroom appearances for financial institutions and credit unions. He is licensed in Kentucky and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts of Kentucky and Indiana.

Mr. McCabe is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, where he received the Continuing Legal Education Award in 2014 and 2015, as well as the Northern Kentucky Bar Association and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International. He served as Warning Order Attorney in the State of Kentucky by Boone and Gallatin Counties. Prior to joining Weltman, Mr. McCabe focused his practice on creditors’ rights and collection matters with Richards & Associates and The McCabe Firm, PLLC. In addition, he was an instructor of legal writing and analysis in the department of Paralegal Studies for Beckfield College in Florence, KY. He earned his J.D. from the University of Tulsa’s College of Law, his MBA in finance from the University of New Orleans, and his B.A. in English from Xavier University.
