Charles G. Pona, Esq.

Mr. Charles “Chuck” G. Pona is a Shareholder responsible for managing the firm’s Consumer Collections Business Unit, overseeing each of the consumer collections practice groups’ overall performance, profitability, and client satisfaction. Mr. Pona practices in general consumer collections and the Subrogation Practice Group. He is AV® Preeminent™ Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, its highest available rating for legal ability and professional ethics.

Mr. Pona was one of the first members selected to serve on the Collections Advisory Board for TransUnion, the third largest credit bureau in the United States. He is a member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals, the Northern Ohio Credit Association, and the Ohio State Bar Association. He has previously served as President of the National Creditors Bar Association. Licensed in Ohio and Pennsylvania, Mr. Pona is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He earned his J.D. from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and his B.S. magna cum laude from Bowling Green State University. He is a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Legal Advisor of Gilmour Inc. Knights of Columbus, and Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Schnurmann House, a non-profit senior housing community.
