Based in Weltman's Brooklyn Heights office, Scott D. Fink is the Shareholder managing the Bankruptcy Practice Group. He practices in both the Consumer and Commercial Bankruptcy Groups, and is also involved in the firm's Real Estate Default Group. Mr. Fink specializes in complex bankruptcy matters involving larger-balance consumer claims and fraud claims. He also has extensive experience handling Chapter 11 cases on behalf of equipment lessors. Mr. Fink has successfully protected the rights of his clients in some of the largest Chapter 11 cases in recent years, including American Airlines, SunEdison, Orchard Supply and Exide Technologies.

Mr. Fink's responsibilities include managing the attorneys and employees in his unit, creating innovative bankruptcy programs for clients and marketing. He earned his B.A. in political science from Miami University and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. A member of the Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations, Mr. Fink is licensed in Colorado and Ohio, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. He is a member of the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees, a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Peer Review Rated Attorney, and was selected for inclusion in the 2010 Ohio Rising Stars list.
