Daniel A. Friedlander practices commercial and consumer litigation in the firm's Litigation & Defense Group. Primarily focusing on Commercial Banking Litigation and Commercial Business Litigation, he is also involved in the Professional Services Collection Group and the Real Estate Default Group. As former Vice President and Senior Counsel for one of the largest diversified financial services institutions in the U.S., he handled various litigation matters including commercial defense, UCC, trust and fiduciary, employment, intellectual property, brokerage, mortgage, and collection counterclaims. He is AV® Preeminent™ Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, its highest available rating for legal ability and professional ethics.

Mr. Friedlander earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and his B.A. with honors in English Literature from the University of Michigan. Upon graduation from law school, he clerked on the Ohio Supreme Court before joining a well-respected Cleveland law firm where he specialized in commercial and insurance defense litigation. He is a member of the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association, and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He is licensed in Ohio, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio.
