Casey B. Hicks, Esq.

Casey B. Hicks is a Shareholder and the Managing Attorney for the firm’s Chicago office. Practicing in the Real Estate Default Group, she has handled numerous cases on bankruptcy, collection, eviction, housing court, and foreclosure matters. Ms. Hicks was selected to the 2017 MReport Women in Housing List, recognized for her integrity, professionalism, and consistently positive attitude, among other notable achievements. The list is published by MReport Magazine, one of the country's leading sources for mortgage banking news.

Ms. Hicks earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School, where she was the recipient of the Predatory Home Lending Scholarship. She was a participant in the Herzog Intraschool Moot Court Competition, where she achieved the top 1/3 oral score. She was also a member of the Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Honors Council. Ms. Hicks earned her B.A. in political science and law and society from Purdue University, where she was a member of the Gamma Sigma Alpha Greek Honor Society, and a recipient of the Gamma Phi Beta Scholarship.

A member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association, she is licensed in Illinois and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. As an avid runner who participates in multiple races a year, she is proud to support the American Lung Association.
