Benjamin N. Hoen is a Shareholder based in the firm’s Cleveland, Ohio office. A member of the Real Estate Default Group, he focuses his legal practice on foreclosure and eviction matters. Mr. Hoen has been named in six consecutive editions of “Ohio Rising Stars” by Ohio Super Lawyers (2011-16), an honor awarded annually to no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state.
Mr. Hoen is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, and the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Alumni Association (Moot Court Board of Governors). He currently serves on the Cleveland Heights Board of Zoning Appeals, the Cleveland Heights Housing Council, Congregation Zemach Zedek of Cleveland Heights Board of Trustees, Chabad at Case and University Circle Board of Trustees, and the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Community Relations Committee. From 2011-14 he participated on the Cleveland Heights Citizens Advisory Committee, supporting the Community Development Block Grant Program.
Mr. Hoen earned his J.D. cum laude from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and his First Rabbinical Degree from Central Yeshiva, Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitz. He is licensed in Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
