Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA (Weltman) is proud to announce another successful fundraising campaign to support the March of Dimes. With approximately 450,000 babies born prematurely in the U.S. every year, and as the number one cause of infant mortality, Weltman is committed to help end the crisis. Through the combined efforts of the Firm’s nine regional offices, Weltman has raised approximately $250,000 since 2001 to support this critical cause.
Weltman Shareholder Sara Donnersbach, present Chairperson of the Board for the March of Dimes Northeast Ohio Division, is proud of the Firm's ongoing support of the organization over the years. "Our staff walks annually for the March for Babies, and they compete in cooking, bartending and other challenges to raise thousands of dollars each year," said Donnersbach. "I am extremely honored to have such a philanthropic staff that share their personal stories and encourage those around us to get involved."
The March of Dimes mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. To learn more about how you can help, visit marchofdimes.org.
