Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA Attorney Monette W. Cope Elected to Rainbows for All Children Governing Board of Directors

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA (Weltman), a full-service creditors' rights law firm now in its 87th year of client service, is pleased to announce that Attorney Monette W. Cope was elected to the Governing Board of Directors for Rainbows for All Children (Rainbows). 

Rainbows is dedicated to being the premier source of support for all youth as they navigate grief and heal from loss, whether from death, divorce, deployment, or other trauma. Serving children from all economic, racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, they have used age-appropriate curriculum to help over 3 million youth over the past 33 years.

Ms. Cope is one of six board members who will serve a two year term. The Rainbows Board of Directors is responsible for determining policy, monitoring the implementation and effectiveness of policy and strategic direction, and providing legislative advice and consent to Rainbows management. 

Ms. Cope is based in Weltman's Chicago office, where she practices in consumer and commercial bankruptcy, and education loan collections and litigation. She earned her J.D. from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law, and her B.A. cum laude in English from The Ohio State University. She currently serves on the board of Chicago Financial Women, and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and Chicago Bar Association.
